Responsibilities
The Senior Application Owner is responsible for the IT application life cycle, ensuring that applications are implemented, optimised and maintained according to the customer's guidelines and goals.
- Manage software licenses, certificates, instances, entitlements
- Ensure system stability and successful production/continuous operation environment (L3 support, bug fixing, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with the agreed service levels
- Take responsibility for software projects regarding operational aspects and system stability
- Take responsibility for the coordination of consumption and performance management
- Take control of the change management process
- Take control of the incident management process
- Take responsibility for the analysis, coordination, resolution and documentation of incidents
- Release Management
- Test preparation, execution and support
- Participate in the development team
- Maintain close coordination with the respective business areas
Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of (or equivalent):
- Web logic
- Tomcat
- Oracle database
- Java
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Angular
- SQL
- Web Technologies
Experience working across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
- ITIL
- Agile project methods (extensive project experience in various agile projects)
- Certificate management (keystore container)
The ideal candidate:
- German C1+ language and writing skills. Fluent English.
- Successfully completed studies in a relevant subject or comparable training
- Professional experience of at least 5 years
- Good knowledge of agile process models and continuous integration
- Proactive, strong independence, self-initiative
- Analytical skills, customer and solution-oriented demeanour
- Experience in solving complex, time-critical problems/questions
- Able to work in high pressure environment and prioritise tasks
- Willing to work weekends (sometimes necessary)
- Willing to work on customer site up to 5 days per week
- Willing to undergo a security screening according to the Security Screening Act (SÜG)
