Responsibilities
- Build and maintain services that handle 1,000 requests per second
- Take responsibility for your services and functions, working closely with top management
- Design the overall technical architecture, consisting of frontend, backend, database, caches, etc.
- Conduct technical discussions with stakeholders
- Create well-structured, reusable and documented code
- Design automated release processes (continuous integration)
- Test features (unit tests) to ensure the robustness and high quality of the system
- Support, advise and mentor product teams in achieving business goals
Skills
- C1 German language skills & fluent in English
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development with PHP/MySQL
- Experience in web front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience (or a strong willingness to learn) in Go, React, Typescript
- Confident in Linux Debian production environment
- Able to write Clean code, quality-conscious, solution-oriented
- Enthusiastic about monitoring and alerting
- A skilled problem solver, able to give and take constructive feedback
- A Team motivator that encourages others to achieve top performance
