Senior Software Engineer (ref: 027)
Our client is a 20-year-old software engineering consultancy firm, based in Mainz, Germany.
They have 250 members of staff, developing end-to end software solutions for clients, such as Sony Entertainment, Audi and Bayern Munich football club.
They have a 4.8/5* on Kununu and have been awarded "Best Workplace" in Germany for consecutive years for their ultra-flexible work environment, and exciting (and challenging) greenfield projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-15 developers on long term software projects, typically lasting 2-3 years, with a 50/50 split on hands-on development and management.
- Leverage technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Golang, SpringBoot, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. (You don’t need to know all of these, there is room to learn!)
- Be at the forefront of all technical decisions for the team and have full technical freedom!
Qualifications
- Advanced C1 level German
- 5+ years programming experience
- Confident with OOP (Java, Kotlin, Golang)
- Microservice-based frameworks (SpringBoot)
- Cloud Computing Services (Amazon Web Services (AWS))
- Container-based platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
You don’t need to know all of these, there is room to learn!
